The You:nique Prepaid Card is a payment tool that you
can use to purchase goods and services, much like a credit card.
However, your spending is limited to the amount that
you have stored on your
Card – similar to your prepaid mobile phone service.
Do I need to have an account with Alliance Bank
to hold a You:nique Prepaid Card?
No. Anyone, including existing Alliance Bank
customers and non-Alliance Bank customers, can sign up for the
You:nique Prepaid Card without having to open
a bank account with Alliance Bank.
Where can I use my You:nique Prepaid Card?
The You:nique Prepaid Card can be used at millions of locations within
Malaysia and overseas where Card is accepted.
It is valid for the amount that is stored on the
Card up until the expiry date.
You can use the You:nique Prepaid Card at
automated petrol pumps; to make purchases online;
to withdraw cash at ATMs; and even for recurring payments,
direct debits or installments,
provided you have sufficient balance on your Card.
You cannot use the You:nique Prepaid Card
to make purchases beyond the card balance,
installment payment plans (IPP) and cash advances.
What is the age restriction associated with the use of my
You:nique Prepaid Card?
You must be at least 18 years of age to hold a You:nique Prepaid Card.
Upon receipt of your You:nique Prepaid Card,
you must immediately sign on the
signature panel on the back of the Card.
Does my You:nique Prepaid Card have an expiry date?
Yes, the expiry date is indicated on the front of the card.
Generally, the You:nique Prepaid Card expires four (4) years after the issuance date.
Can my You:nique Prepaid Card ever have a negative balance?
Any transaction that is greater than the
available balance will be declined.
How do I use my You:nique Prepaid Card?
Just present your You:nique Prepaid Card to an outlet where
Card is accepted and it will be swiped or inserted into a
credit card terminal for processing as a Card transaction.
You will then be asked to sign to authorize the
purchase as with a normal credit card purchase.
How do I check the balance on my You:nique Prepaid Card?
Statements are not issued for the You:nique Prepaid Card.
You can check your balance and transaction history online for free at allianceonline.

Will my name be embossed on my You:nique Prepaid Card?
Yes.
Will I receive a PIN with my You:nique Prepaid Card?
Yes, the PIN allows you to withdraw cash at ATMs.
What happens if my You:nique Prepaid Card is damaged, lost or stolen?
Please report it to us immediately by calling 03-5516 9988.
We will issue a replacement card to you.
